 A fantastic opportunity to work as an Apprentice Hospitality Supervisor/Manager in a small Community Café - Neck Of The Woods.

Whilst you are employed as an Apprentice you will work towards achieving a Level 3- Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship delivered by Babcock Training.

Duties will include:

  • Maintain working schedules on a day to day basis
  • Recruit/Mentor junior staff and train them according to the company policies
  • Brief employees about rules of the café and best practices
  • Ensure that all equipment is suitably maintained for use
  • Make sure the cleaning is done before the daily operations start
  • Keep a record of monthly expenses and revenues
  • Coordinate with suppliers for the stock of raw material
  • Maintain healthy relationship with customers
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks
  • Co-ordinate with the staff according to different shifts and confirm their availability
  • Plan different deals and discounts to attract potential customers
  • Maintain the standard and quality of the services provided by leading with example
  • Ensure that the needs of the customers are fulfilled
  • Ensure smooth operations of our café by leading by example

This vacancy is for the duration of the apprenticeship (15months) with the possibility of permanent employment upon the completion of the apprenticeship programme.
Requirements

Level 2 Hospitality preferred.
Proven experience of working in hospitality a minimum of 1-2 years
Ability to work coffee machines and have barista skill
Food service experience
Team-leading skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Minimum of Grade 4-5 /A-C GCSE in Maths English
A passion for hospitality
Ability to deliver the highest standards
Ability to work at pace
Excellent communication skills
Able to work on your own and as part of a team
A desire to learn and achieve you apprenticeship
Working 40 hours
